Project Overview
AMA Scaffolding was appointed by Starfish Construction to provide scaffolding for a recently completed cladding remediation project in Chigwell. The works involved providing safe access for full cladding remediation across the building, requiring a designed scaffold solution to support the duration of the project.
This was a 28-week programme, requiring a stable and compliant scaffold system that would remain in place throughout the remediation works. Our role included both the scaffold design and the full erection and dismantling of the scaffold.
Being located just 15 minutes from our depot, this was a convenient local project for our team. This allowed us to maintain a consistent presence and deliver the project efficiently from installation through to dismantling.
From the outset, the focus was on delivering a practical access solution that would safely support the cladding remediation works for the full project duration.

Scaffold Design

Erection & Project Duration
Our team carried out the full erection of the scaffold in line with the contractor’s programme. Once installed, the scaffold remained in place for the duration of the cladding remediation works.
Throughout the 28-week period, the scaffold provided reliable access to support the works being carried out by Starfish Construction.
Upon completion of the remediation works, AMA Scaffolding returned to site to carry out the safe dismantling of the scaffold.
