Project Overview

AMA Scaffolding was appointed to provide a full scaffolding access solution for works at Harlow Museum on behalf of M&J Group, working for Harlow Council. The project involved the replacement of a new roof, along with remedial works required to the museum’s bell tower.

Because of the nature of the building and the works being carried out, the scaffold needed to provide safe, stable and practical access for roofing contractors while also allowing specialist works to be completed around the bell tower. The project required careful planning, accurate design and a scaffold arrangement that could remain in place for the full 16-week hire period.

The Client

The client for the project was M&J Group, delivering works for Harlow Council at Harlow Museum. As the building required roofing and bell tower access, the scaffold had to support a busy programme of works while remaining suitable for a public-sector heritage-style environment.

The Challenge
