With over 40 years of experience in the UK Scaffolding industry Stewart brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the AMA Scaffolding team.
Coming from a large family of Scaffolders, he started working for the family business in 1982.
He has worked in Senior Management/Director roles for a number of the larger London Scaffolding Contractors before joining AMA in 2020, shortly after the Covid outbreak to assist owner, Martin Unstead with his expansion into the Cladding remediation sector.
Stewart primarily looks after our estimating and commercial areas on the larger projects. He was previously Regional Chairman for the London and SE region of the NASC (National Access and Scaffolding Confederation) and was also elected smaller companies representative at the NASC Council.
He was a member of the NASC Contracts Committee for 10 years and have helped produce guidance on both contractual and health and safety matters.
